The best burgers in Córdoba, Spain: aged beef over charcoal

Aged beef over charcoal · Vial Norte, Córdoba

Carbonara, Honey Burger and Doblecheese: aged beef cooked on the same grill as our steaks, with hand-cut homemade fries. From the top-rated steak restaurant in Córdoba on TripAdvisor (August 2026).

Where to eat a burger in Córdoba

A burger is, before anything else, beef. So the best burger in Córdoba does not have to come from a burger joint: it can come from a steakhouse. At Con Acento Parrilla, Avenida Al-Nasir 13 (Vial Norte), there are three on the menu: Carbonara (€16), Honey Burger (€15) and Doblecheese (€14). All three are made with aged beef and come on a brioche bun with hand-cut homemade fries.

The difference is where they are cooked. The patty never touches a flat-top: it goes on the grill, over charcoal embers, next to the bone-in ribeye and the sirloin. The cheese melts on top of the patty on the grill itself, and the brioche bun goes on the grill too. It is a burger made with the craft and the fire of a steakhouse.

How a steakhouse makes a burger

What you see in the videos on this page is what happens every time someone orders a burger.

Aged beef, weighed and shaped

All three burgers are made with aged beef. Each patty is weighed on the scale and shaped in the kitchen before it goes near the fire, so every burger carries the weight on the menu: 180 g for the Honey Burger, two 90 g patties for the Doblecheese.

On the grill, over charcoal

The patty goes on the steakhouse grill, the same one our steaks cook on, over charcoal embers. The embers brown the outside and add a touch of smoke a flat-top never gives.

Cheese melted on the fire

The cheese goes on the patty while it is still on the grill and is covered with a steel dome so the heat of the embers melts it. That is why it reaches the table properly melted.

How to spot a good burger

Looking for the best burgers in Córdoba means looking for a place that gets four things right. You can judge us by the same rules.

You know what beef it is

A good burger starts with good beef, and whoever serves it should be able to tell you what it is and how much it weighs. Our menu says so on every burger.

It is juicy

A well-cooked patty is browned outside and still juicy inside. If it arrives dry and grey, it was overcooked or the beef did not have enough fat.

The bun holds up

The bun has to carry the beef, cheese and sauce to the last bite without falling apart. Brioche does that, and its slight sweetness balances the bacon and cheese.

The cheese is melted

A cold slice of cheese on top of a patty is not a cheeseburger. The cheese has to melt with the heat of the beef, as ours does under the dome on the grill.

What a burger costs at Con Acento

At our menu prices: the Doblecheese is €14 (€15.50 with bacon), the Honey Burger €15 and the Carbonara €16. All three include homemade fries, cut by hand in the kitchen, so there is no need to order a side.

A table for two ordering a Honey Burger and a Carbonara pays €31 before drinks and dessert. If you want something to share first, the patatas bravas and the croquetas come in half portions too.

Burger or steak?

The whole table does not have to choose. The burgers come off the same fire as the steaks, so one table can have both: a burger for whoever is craving one and an aged bone-in ribeye to share. Our guide to the best steakhouse in Córdoba covers every cut on the grill and its price.

And if someone at the table does not eat meat, the same fire cooks fish too: almadraba bluefin tuna as tataki, toast or loin.
